2 Kings 6-8

2 Kings 6
An ax falls into water.
Elisha makes the ax head float.
The Syrians are at war with Israel.
Elisha is telling the king of Israel what the Syrians plan.
The Syrians find out and go to find Elisha.
The Lord blinds them for Elisha and he takes them to Samaria where Israel captures them.
The Syrians are sent away and they no longer came into Israel.
Syria attacks Samaria during a famine.

2 Kings 7
4 lepers decide to go to the Syrians because there is famine in the city they were kicked out of.
They come to the Syrians camp and discover an empty camp.
The Lord cause them to hear the noise of a great army so they fled.
The lepers pillage the tents then tell the king’s household.
The people take many spoils from the camp.

2 Kings 8
The King of Israel restores all that the woman whose son Elisha raised from the dead had.
Ben-Hadad, king of Syria, asks Elisha if he will recover from his sickness.
Ben-Hadad dies and Hazael takes over.
Jehoram, Jehoshaphat’s son, rules over Judah doing evil in the eyes of the Lord.
Jehoram dies and his son, Ahaziah rules, doing evil in the eyes of the Lord.
