2 Kings 1-3

2 Kings 1
Moab rebels against Israel after Ahab dies.
Ahazaih injures himself and send messengers to inquire to Baal-Zebub as to if he will recover from this injury.
On the way, Elijah intercepts them and says that he will not recover and will die.
The messengers report to Ahazaih and he sends a captain and 50 men to bring Elijah to the king.
The men address Elijah as a Man of God.
Elijah says that if he is a Man of God that fire will come down from heaven and consume the captain and 50 men.
Fire does come down and consume the men.
Ahazaih sends more men and they are consumes by fire.
The 3rd group is sent and Elijah goes with them.
Elijah tells Ahazaih he will die and he does.
The acts of Ahazaih are in the chronicles.

2 Kings 2
Elijah is going to be taken up in a whirlwind to heaven.
Elijah travels to several places and Elisha follows.
Elijah asks Elisha if there is anything he can give him before he goes to heaven.
Elisha asks for a double portion of his spirit upon him.
Elijah says if Elisha can see him going up into heaven then it shall be so.
Elijah parts the river and they walk across on dry land and the chariot of fire and horses of fire appears and Elijah goes up to heaven.
Elisha is able to see Elijah ascending.
Elisha now has the spirit of Elijah.
Elisha heals water and gets mocked by youth about being bald.
Elisha curses them and 2 bears kill 42 of them.

2 Kings 3
Jehoram, Ahab’s son, sinned before the Lord but not as severely as his father.
Moab does not pay tribute to Israel when Ahab dies.
Jehoram asks Jehoshaphat to fight Moab with him; he agrees to fight.
Israel and Judah defeat Moab.
