2 King 20-22

2 King 20
Hezekiah is sick and about to die and Isaiah confirms.
Hezekiah prays to the Lord to not die.
The Lord tells Isaiah to tell Hezekiah that He has heard his prayer and will extend his life 15 years and deliver them from Assyria for David’s sake.
Isaiah puts a bunch of figs on Hezekiah’s wound and he is healed.
The Lord gives Hezekiah a sign by moving a shadow backwards.
People from Babylon come to visit Hezekiah who shows them his treasures.
Isaiah warns how Babylon will take everything from Israel and bring it to Babylon.
Hezekiah dies and Manasseh rules.

2 King 21
Manasseh was 12 when he became king of Judah and did evil and rebuilt the high places which his father tore down, made wooden images and altars for Baal.
Manasseh even put an idol in the house of the Lord.
Manasseh made the people sin and do evil just like he did.
Manasseh dies and Amon ruled doing evil.
Amon is killed by his servants and his son Josiah rules.

2 King 22
Josiah was 8 when he became king and did right in the eyes of the Lord.
Josiah sends men to collect money to repair the temple of the Lord.
While doing so, they find the Book of the Law.
Josiah tears his clothes because this fathers and the people have not been following the Lord.
The Lord says that calamity will fall on Jerusalem and Israel.
The Lord also says that Josiah will not see this calamity because of his obedience.
