1 Kings 8
The Ark is brought to the Temple.
Solomon gives a speech, prays, and blesses the people.
Solomon dedicates the Temple by sacrificing 22,000 bulls and 120,000 sheep to the Lord.

1 Kings 9
The Lord appears to Solomon telling him that if he and his sons follow the Lord, He will establish Solomon’s throne over Israel forever.
If not, he will destroy Israel.
Solomon give Hiram 20 cities.
Hiram is displeased with the cities.
Hiram gives Solomon 120 talents of gold.
