Judges 13-15

Judges 13
Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, so He allowed the Philistines rule them for 40 years.
An Angel of the Lord appears to Manoah's wife, who was barren, telling her that she will have a son and her will deliver Israel from the Philistines.
Manoah and his wife were given specific instructions on caring and raising the boy.
No razor shall touch the boys head.
Manoah and his wife had a son and named him Samson.
The Lord blessed Samson and the Spirit of the Lord moved in him.

Judges 14
Samson took a female from the Philistines are his wife.
During a feast, Samson poses and riddle and makes a bet with a few men.
Samson's wife draws the answer out of him and tells the men.
Samson realizes what his wife did and returned home to fathers house.
Samson's was given to his companion.

Judges 15
Samson returns to meet his wife but her father will not allow it.
The father gave her away because he thought Samson did not want her anymore.
The father offers his younger daughter.
Samson destroys the grain and vineyards of the Philistines.
The Philistines ready for battle.
Judah sees this and asks why.
Judah is told what Samson did.
Judah goes to Samson and says the Philistines want us to bring you to them.
Samson asks them not to kill him, but bind him, then bring him.
They bring Samson to the Philistines.
Samson breaks the ropes and finds a jawbone and kills 1,000 Philistine men.
After this Samson is very thirsty and asks the Lord for water.
God split the place and water came out for Samson to drink.
Samson judges Israel for 20 years.
