Deuteronomy 5-7

Deuteronomy 5
The 10 Commandments are reviewed.
The people are afraid of God.
They were afraid of God speaking through the fire and smoke.

Deuteronomy 6
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your soul, and with all your strength."
The people are given warning to not disobey and fall to sinful things after the Lord brings them into Canaan.

Deuteronomy 7
The Lord will conquer seven greater nations for the Israelites.
God chose the Israelites because they are holy and are His people.
God tells the people of the blessings they will receive if they continue to follow Him and keep His commandments.
