Judges 10-12

Judges 10
Tola judged Israel 23 years.
Then, Jair judges Israel 22 years.
Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord AGAIN!?. serving the Baals.
The Lord sold Israel into the hands of the Philistines and the people of Ammon for 18 years.
The people cry out and the Lord says how he delivered them so many times yet they turned their backs again.
This time the Lord says he will not deliver them and to go to the gods they have been serving.

Judges 11
Jephthah was the son of Gilead from a harlot.
His other brothers drove him out and gave him no inheritance because they had different mothers.
Ammon made war with Israel and Gilead's sons and elders sought Japhthah to help them fight.
They said they would make him commander.
Jephthah agrees and becomes commander.
He makes a promise to the Lord that he will sacrafice as a burnt offering whatever comes out of his home when he returns home after victory.
Japhthah was victorious over Ammon through the Lord.
When Japhthah returns home his daughter greets him.
Japhthah fulfilled his promise to the Lord sacrificing his daughter to the Lord.
All of Israel mourns the daughter of Japhthah for fours days every year.

Judges 12
Ephraim asked Japhthah why he didn't tell Ephraim that they were attacking Ammon.
Japhthah said he called but reieived no answer so he took matters into his own hands.
Japhthah and Ephraim fought and Japhthah was victorious.
He judged Israel 6 years.
Ibzan judges Israel 7 years.
Elon judges Israel 10 years.
Abdon judges Israel 8 years.
