Philippians

Philippians 1
Paul is thankful for those in Philippi.
Paul says that the things that have happened to him were for the furtherance of the gospel.
Live in Christ.
Suffer in Christ.

Philippians 2
There is unity through humility.
“…at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow…and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.”
“Do all things without complaining…”
Paul is going to send Timothy to them and hopes to come himself shortly.
Paul praises Epaphroditus on his work for the Lord for Philippi.

Philippians 3
Paul warns them of many dangers.
Paul states he is on a journey just as they are in Christ towards a goal.
“For our citizenship is in heaven.”
This is not our home.

Philippians 4
“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice”
“…and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
“Meditate on these things.”
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
“Any my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
