Hebrews 1-6

Hebrews 1
God spoke to His people in many ways in the past.
God decided to speak to the people through His Son Jesus Christ.
The apostle clarifies that Jesus is above the angels.

Hebrews 2
Do not neglect so great a salvation.
The Son of God was made lower than the angels for our sake.

Hebrews 3
The Son was faithful and so should we be.

Hebrews 4
We are promised rest.
Enter into His rest.
“For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edges sword.”
Jesus Christ is our His Priest.

Hebrews 5
We are given the qualifications of a High priest.
“You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”
Beware of spiritual immaturity.

Hebrews 6
There is peril in not progressing.
Move forward.
Keep growing.
God’s purpose in Christ in infallible.
