Galatians 1-3

Galatians 1
Paul tells the Galatians there is only one Gospel, the one he preaches about.
Paul speaks of his conversion from persecuting to preaching the Word of the Lord.
Paul visited Jerusalem and Peter.
Many glorified God when they heard of Paul’s conversion.

Galatians 2
Paul speaks of working with Titus and Barnabas and defending the Gospel.
Paul talks about the Law and the Gentiles.
Paul says we are not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ.
“For by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.”
“I have been crucified in Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.”

Galatians 3
Justification through faith, not works.
The law brings a curse.
The law had a purpose and came because of transgressions.
