Ephesians 1-3

Ephesians 1
Paul is writing to the church at Ephesus.
We have redemption in Christ.
Paul prays for Spiritual wisdom for the people.
“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sin.”

Ephesians 2
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
The Gentiles were brought into the family of God by the blood of Jesus.
“For He Himself is our peace…”
Jesus Christ is the chief cornerstone.

Ephesians 3
Paul tells the Ephesians that the Gentiles are not fellow heirs with Christ.
The purpose of this is to bring God glory.
Paul is awestruck at the love of Christ.
