Matthew 27
Jesus is handed over to Pontius Pilate.
Judas tries to return the silver.
Judas hangs himself.
Jesus faces Pilate and does not answer him.
The people want Barabbas released and Jesus crucified.
Pilate does at the people request, washing his hand of the blood.
The people say let His blood be on them and their children.
Soldiers mock Jesus.
Simon carries Jesus’s cross.
Jesus’s garments are divided and He is put on the cross.
Jesus dies on the cross.
The veil is torn in two, the earth quaked, the rocks split, and the graves of many saints were opened.
Joseph from Arimathea requests Jesus’s body from Pilate and is obliged.
Joseph buries Jesus is his tomb.
The Pharisees have a guard at the tomb so Jesus’s body isn’t stolen so that His followers can claim that He rose on the third day like He said He would.

Matthew 28
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary go to the tomb.
There is an earthquake and the stone is rolled away.
The angel of the Lord tells both Mary’s that Jesus is risen.
They are instructed to go and tell the disciples.
Jesus meets the women on the way and tells them to tell the disciples to meet Him in Galilee.
The soldiers told the priests what happened.
The soldiers were bribed to lie and say the disciples came and stole His body.
Jesus speaks to His eleven disciples to go into all the world preaching the Gospel and baptizing them.
Jesus tells them that He will be with them always.
