Mark 15-16

Mark 15
Jesus faces Pilate.
The people ask for Barabbas to be released and have Jesus crucified.
The soldiers mock Jesus and put a crown of thorns on His head.
Jesus is crucified on the cross with the inscription, “KING OF THE JEWS” above His head.
Jesus cries out to His Father.
Jesus is taken down and buried in Joseph of Arimathea’s tomb.

Mark 16
Jesus is raised from the dead on the third day, just as He predicted.
Mary Magdalene and His mother go to grave to find it empty.
An Angel tells them that Jesus is alive and they are to tell the disciples the news and have them find Jesus in Galilee.
Mary Madgalene sees Jesus and no one believes her.
Two disciples see Jesus and no one believes them.
Jesus appears to the eleven and rebukes them for not believing.
Jesus commands them to preach the Gospel to all.
Jesus ascends to heaven to the right hand of God.
The disciples go and preach, the Lord working with them.
