Amos judges the nations, Judah and Israel.
Judgement on Moab, Judah and Israel are given.
The judgement on Israel is more harsh than Judah, Amos’s nation.
Amos 3
“Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?"
The prophesy of Amos has its authority in the Lord.
Israel will be punished for their sins.
Amos 4
Israel did not accept correction from the Lord or His prophets.
They did not return to God.
God tells them to prepare to meet me.
Amos 5
A lamentation is taken over Israel.
The people are called to repentance.
“Seek good and not evil.”
Because the people sinned, the Lord will send them into captivity.
