Matthew 1-4

Matthew 1
The genealogy of Jesus Christ is given.
Christ is born to the virgin Mary.
They call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins.

Matthew 2
Wise men from the east come to worship and give gifts to Jesus.
An angel tells Joseph to take Jesus and Mary to Egypt because Herod wants to kill Jesus.
Herod kills all 2 years old and under in attempt to have Jesus killed.
Joseph keeps Mary and Jesus safe and go to Nazareth as instructed by God.

Matthew 3
John the Baptist is preparing the way for Jesus baptizing many who are confessing their sins.
John baptizes Jesus.

Matthew 4
Satan tempts Jesus quoting scripture.
Jesus quotes right back and told him to leave.
Jesus begins his ministry in Galilee.
Jesus calls four fishermen, Peter, Andrew, James, and John, to follow Him to become fishers of men.
Jesus heals many sick people and his fame grows.
