Luke 10-11

Luke 10
Jesus sends out 70 people in pairs of two.
The 70 return with joy saying that the demons listened to them.
Jesus rejoices in the Holy Spirit.
Jesus gives the parable of the good Samaritan.

Luke 11
The disciples ask Jesus to teach them how to pray.
Jesus gives them the Lord’s prayer to pray.
Ask. Seek. Knock.
A house divided cannot stand.
Beware of returning demons.
“Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
This generation wants a sign, which they will not get.
Be a light.
Jesus speaks to the scribes and Pharisees who they are wicked, foolish, and proud.
