Matthew 22
Jesus gives the parable of the wedding feast.
The Pharisees ask Jesus if it is lawful to pay taxes.
“Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
The greatest commandment is “You shall love the Lord your God with all your hear, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”
The second is “You shall love your neighbor are yourself.”
Jesus stumps the Pharisees with a question about David calling Him Lord.
Matthew 23
Jesus speaks to the scribes and Pharisees of their wicked ways.
Jesus laments over Jerusalem’s disobedience.
