John 19-21

John 19
Jesus is mocked and whipped.
Pilate gives in to the people to have Jesus crucified.
The soldiers gamble for Jesus’s clothes.
Jesus says, “It is finished.”
Joseph of Arimathea requests Jesus’s body from Pilate and buries Him.

John 20
Mary Magdalene finds the tomb empty.
Mary Magdalene sees Jesus first.
Thomas does not believe that Jesus is alive.
He says he will not believe until he touches Jesus’s nail pierced hand and side.
Jesus says, “Blessed are you who have not seen and yet believed.”

John 21
A couple of disciples go fishing.
They then have breakfast with Jesus on the beach.
Jesus asks Peter three times if he loves Him.
