Acts 9-10

Acts 9
Saul is confronted by the Lord on the road to Damascus.
Saul is blind for three days after seeing the light.
Ananias is told by the Lord to go to Saul and give him his sight back.
Ananias does so and baptizes Saul.
Saul immediately preaches in the name of Jesus Christ.
Many are confused that Saul is preaching because he was just recently persecuting.
The Jews plotted to kill Saul but Saul was able to escape.
Saul goes to Jerusalem to joins the disciples, but they were afraid because they did not believe he had changed.
The disciples eventually believes after Barnabas gave witness.
Churches throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
Peter raised Dorcas from the dead and many believed.

Acts 10
Cornelius sends his men to Peter to find out what he is to do, all through a vision.
Peter has a vision of the Lord offering Peter food.
Peter says it is common and he has not eaten such food.
The voice spoke saying, “What God has cleansed you must not call common.”
Cornelius’s men arrive and Peter says he will go with them.
The next day they leave with some men from Joppa.
Peter meets Cornelius and preached to his family.
Peter says the Lord taught him that he should deem a man unclean.
Anyone who fears Him and works righteousness, is accepted by God.
While Peter was speaking, the Holy Spirit descended on the people there.
Many were astonished because the gift of the Holy Spirit was given to Gentiles.
Peter baptized all who were there for they had received the Holy Spirit.
