Nehemiah 1-3

Nehemiah 1
Nehemiah prays  to God for his people.

Nehemiah 2
Nehemiah is sad in the presence of King Artaxerxes so the king inquires.
The King allows Nehemiah to go the Judah to repair his city.
Nehemiah surveys the walls in the night.
Nehemiah encourages the people to rebuild the city.

Nehemiah 3
Many take part in the rebuilding of the wall.
