The Game Plan. I will be reading through the Bible through this year of 2011; little by little, chapter by chapter. I have always wanted to do this but have never committed to do so. This is me making a commitment.

2 Chronicle 25-27

2 Chronicle 25
Amaziah did right in the eyes of the Lord, but not with a loyal heart.
He killed the servants who killed his father.
Amaziah is victorious over the Edomites and brings back their gods and worships them.
The Lord sends Amaziah a prophet to tell him he should not worship the gods.
Amaziah does not listen.
Israel and Amaziah go to battle and Amaziah is defeated and captured.
Amaziah is killed.

2 Chronicle 26
Uzziah is made king and does right in the eyes of the Lord.
The Lord helps Uzziah be victorious against his enemies.
Uzziah goes and burns incense because he was very prideful.
The Lord makes Uzziah leprous for what he did.
Uzziah dies and Jotham, his son, reigns.

2 Chronicle 27
Jotham did right in the eyes of the Lord as Uzziah did except for entering the temple of the Lord.
The people did evil despite Jotham’s example.
Jotham defeated the people of Ammon and build fortresses and built walls.
Jotham died and Ahaz, his son, reigned.
