1 Chronicles 9-11

1 Chronicles 9
The people who lived in Jerusalem, the priests of Jerusalem, the Levites in Jerusalem, the Levite gatekeepers, Levite responsibilities, and the family of King Saul were listed.

1 Chronicles 10
Saul and his sons are killed in battle with the Philistines.
The Philistines take over and desecrate the bodies.
Some valiant men rescued the bodies and buried them.
Saul died because he did not follow the Lord and consulted a medium instead of Him.
The Lord gave the kingdom to David.

1 Chronicles 11
David is made King of Israel and declares his city.
David’s Mighty Men are listed.
