2 Chronicles 21-24

2 Chronicles 21
Jehoshaphat died and Jerhoram rules and kills his other brothers.
Jehoram did not follow the Lord but the Lord would not destroy him because of the covenant with David.
Jehoram was attacked by the Philistines and Arabians and was struck by God by a disease and died.

2 Chronicles 22
Ahaziah is made king and did evil in the eyes or the Lord.
Ahaziah is killed.
Athaliah, mother of Ahaziah, ruled in Judah and killed all heirs to the throne except one, Joash.

2 Chronicles 23
Joash is crowned king.
Athaliah is killed and the people decide to be the Lord's people.
The people destroyed altars and images of Baal.

2 Chronicles 24
Joash was 7 years old when he became king and did right in the eyes of the Lord.
Joash has the Levites gather money to repair the house of the Lord.
They do not do it quickly as Joash asked.
A chest is made and money is collected and the house of the Lord is repaired.
Jehoiada, the priest dies and His son, Zechariah, prophesies against the people.
They conspire against him and Joash has him killed.
Joash is killed by his officers because he killed Jehoiada's son.
Amaziah now rules.
