Ezra 4
Those against Judah tried to dismay the rebuilding of the Temple of the Lord.
People appose the rebuilding of Jerusalem.
The warn Persia that jerusalem is a rebellious city so the king forces Judah to stop rebuilding.
Ezra 5
The temple resumes rebuilding.
Ezra 6
The decree by king Darius to rebuild and restore the temple and worship and sacrificing is read.
The Temple is completed and dedicated with sacrifices.
The Passover is celebrated.
Ezra 7
Ezra arrives on the scene to seek the Law of the Lord and to teach it.
King Artaxerxes sends Ezra a letter saying to pay for things out of the king’s treasury for the work of the Lord and to set judges over the people.
