Esther 6-10

Esther 6
The king could not sleep one night so he has history read to him.
He hears that Mordecai was the one who told of the plat to harm the king.
The king asks what has been done for him and is told nothing.
The king asks Haman what should be done for someone who honors the king.
Haman thinks it is him so he says things he want for himself.
The king agrees with the rewards and tells him to do so to Mordecai.
This was the time where Haman was going to ask to have Mordecai hung.

Esther 7
Esther has her second banquet.
Then king is told that Haman is trying to destroy Esther’s people.
Haman is hung.

Esther 8
Esther is granted her request for the Jews to be protected, to be able to protect themselves, and to destroy those who have attacked them.
The king gives Mordecai Haman’s signet ring and says to write the decree about the Jews in the king’s name.

Esther 9
The Jews destroy their tormentors as the decree allows.
The Feast of Purim is established.

Esther 10
Mordecai is advanced under the king and was second under him.
