2 Chronicles 28
Ahaz did evil burning incense and making images of Baal to worship.
The Lord allowed Judah to be defeated by Syria and Israel.
Israel returns the captives they took from Israel by a prophet.
Ahaz asked for help from Assyria but was refused.
Ahaz closes the House of the Lord and makes altars for himself everywhere.
Ajax dies and Hezekiah reigns.

2 Chronicles 29
Hezekiah did right in the eyes of the Lord.
Hezekiah opens the house of the Lord, restores it, and gathered priests to cleanse the temple and minister.
Hezekiah restores temple worship by sacrificing.

2 Chronicles 30
Hezekiah reestablishes Passover.

Hezekiah tears down the wooden images, sacred pillars, and high places.
