Numbers 21-22

Numbers 21
The Israelites defeat the Canaanities at Hormah.
While traveling around Edom, the people complained once again about being in the wilderness.
The Lord sent firey serpents that bite the people.
The people asked Moses to pray to God from them.
The Lord heard them and told Moses to make a bronze serpent on a pole and anyone who looks at it that has been bitten shall live.
The Israelites keep moving.
Sihon king of the Amorites is defeated because he would not grant them passage through his land.
King Og is also defeated by the Israelites.

Numbers 22
Balak send for Balaam to curse some people.
Balaam says he can only do what the Lord tells him, no more, no less.
The  Lord tells Balaam not to go with Balak, but he does.
On his way, Balaam's donkey see an Angel of the Lord and turns to the side.
This happens three time and Balaam hits his donkey.
The Lord gives the donkey a voice and Balaam eyes are opened and see the Angel of the Lord.
Balaam says he will turn back but the Angel tells him to go but only to speak the words of the Angel of the Lord.
Balaam tells Balak he can only do or say what the Lord tells him.
