Numbers 18
Certain offerings like the heave offering are for the priests to eat in a most holy place by the males of those who are clean.
"I am your portion and inheritance..."
The Lord gives the Levites the tithes of the children of Israel as an inheritance for the work they do in the tabernacle.
If the children of Israel come near the tent, they will die.
From what the Levites get from the people, one tenth of it goes to the Lord as a heave offering.

Laws of purification are established.

Numbers 20
Miriam died and was buried in Kadesh.
The people complain about not having water.
The Lord tells Moses to speak to the rock and water will come forth.
Moses hits the rock twice with his staff and water comes out.
Since Moses disobeyed the Lord and hit the rock instead of speaking to it, the people are not going into the land that the Lord promised.
Moses requestes to pass through the land of Edom.
Edom refuses them passage.
Moses rebelled with the water so Aaron must die.
The people mourned Aaron's death for 30 days.
