Jeremiah 35-37

Jeremiah 35
Jeremiah is told by the Lord to gather the house of the Rechabites and offer them wine.
Jeremiah does so and they refuse to drink because their father commanded them not to.
They will not drink wine nor build houses.
The Lord says the Rechabites will not lack a man for their obedience.

Jeremiah 36
Jeremiah is told to have all that was spoken to him against Israel and Judah written down.
Jeremiah has the scroll read to the people in the house of the Lord.
Michaiah told the palace what was being read so they told Baruch to come and read the scroll to them.
They say they will tell the king these words, but tell Baruch and Jeremiah to hide.
The king hear the words and burns the scroll and demands to be brought Baruch and Jeremiah, but the Lord hides them.
The Lord has Jeremiah and Baruch rewrite the school and add that Jehoiakim burn the original.

Jeremiah 37
Zedekiah did not follow the Lord.
Jeremiah is imprisoned and falsely accused of defecting to the Chaldeans.
Zedekiah comes to speak to Jeremiah asking if there is word from the Lord.
Jeremiah tells him that he will be delivered into the hand of the Babylonians.
