Jeremiah 32
Jeremiah is told to purchase a deed of land from his uncle.
Jeremiah does so and gives the land away.
Jeremiah prays for understanding, as should I.
“They shall be My people, and I will be their God.”
God assures that His people will return.
Jeremiah 33
The restored nation of the Lord will be excellent.
God’s covenant is permanent.
Jeremiah 34
The Lord speaks to Jeremiah concerning Zedekiah.
The Lord warns Zedekiah of his impending capture, but he will die by the sword ,but naturally and be mourned over.
The Lord tells the people to release their slaves.
They do so, but then change their minds and retake the slaves.
The Lord is angry and is going to punish them.
