The Lord says you are responsible fro your action.
What your father did does not affect you. Your father is accountable for his actions.

The Lord tells us to turn and live.

The Lord was provoked to anger with Jerusalem’s harlotry so He stretched His hand against them for their harlotry.
Jerusalem’s lovers will abuse her and strip her clean, bare and naked.
The Lord says what Jerusalem did is worse than Sodom and Samaria.

once Seraiah has read it he is to tie a stone to the book and throw it into the Euphrates so that Babylon will sink and not rise from its destruction.

Zedekiah asks Jeremiah what the Lord has to say and promises he will not kill Jeremiah for what he says.
Jeremiah says to surrender to the the king of the Babylon’s princes and there live and homes will be spared.

The Lord says the Rechabites will not lack a man for their obedience.

Jeremiah is told to have all that was spoken to him against Israel and Judah written down.
Jeremiah has the scroll read to the people in the house of the Lord.
Michaiah told the palace what was being read so they told Baruch to come and read the scroll to them.
They say they will tell the king these words, but tell Baruch and Jeremiah to hide.
The king hear the words and burns the scroll and demands to be brought Baruch and Jeremiah, but the Lord hides them.
The Lord has Jeremiah and Baruch rewrite the school and add that Jehoiakim burn the original.
