Psalm 140-145


Psalm 140
David cries out to God for deliverance from his enemies because the Lord brings justice for the poor.

Psalm 141
“But my eyes are upon You, O God the Lord; in You I take refuge.”
David asks for safety from the wicked.

Psalm 142
David turns to God in the midst of persecution asking for relief.

Psalm 143
David asks for guidance and protection from enemies.

Psalm 144
“Blessed be the Lord my Rock.”
“Happy are the people whose God is the Lord.”
The Lord prospers His people.

Psalm 145
A song 
“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised.”
“The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy."
