Isaiah 5
God is disappointed in His vineyard of Jerusalem and Israel, therefore He torn it down.
“People shall be brought down, each man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled. BUT the Lord of hosts shall be exalted in judgement..."
Isaiah 6
Isaiah is called to be a prophet of the Lord.
Isaiah 7
Isaiah is sent to King Ahaz.
The Lord speaks to Ahaz and tells him to ask for a sign.
Ahaz refuses. The Lord accuses him of being weary of God.
The gives Ahaz a sign that a son will be born of a virgin and he shall be called Immanuel.
